Apple TV moves to $14.99 a month, Apple One individual goes up too

If you pay monthly for Apple TV in the US, the next bill is $14.99 instead of $12.99. Deadline and Variety report the increase, which is effective immediately, and current subscribers will be notified before their next bill.

The annual plan is up from $99. Coverage differs slightly on the new figure, listed as $119 in one account, $119.99 in another, and rounded to $120 in a third.

Apple One rises alongside it. The individual tier, which bundles Apple Music, Apple TV, Apple Arcade, Apple Fitness+, Apple News+ and iCloud+, goes from $19.95 to $21.95 per month. The family and premier plans of that same bundle already got more expensive last month, so for anyone on Apple One this is the second adjustment in a short stretch.

How unusual this is depends on who is counting. One reading has it as the fourth Apple TV price increase in four years, while Android Authority frames it as the second rate hike in just over a year, and both can be true depending on where you start the clock. Either way the direction is one way.

Android Authority puts the service at 50% more expensive than it was going into August 2025. Measured over the full life of the service, the monthly US price has tripled since the 2019 debut.

The rest of Apple's price sheet has been moving as well. Apple Music announced an increase a little over a month before this one, hardware prices went up in June across Apple's products, and Apple is reportedly planning to raise AppleCare+ subscription prices too.

The timing sits weeks after Apple premiered the fourth season of Ted Lasso.

One softener stays in place: Apple typically includes three months of Apple TV access with the purchase of certain devices, which pushes the new monthly rate a quarter of a year down the road for anyone buying new hardware.
