techtutka is a Finnish consumer technology news site. We write about phones, cameras, watches and everyday tech for people who want to know whether a device is worth buying and what it costs in Finland.
Why we grade certainty
Tech reporting is full of rumours, leaks and certification filings presented as fact. Every article we publish carries a mark showing how certain the information is and what it rests on. The scale has five steps and it appears both in the list and at the top of the article.
Sources
Every article says what it rests on. Sources are named and linked at the end of the piece with their publisher. We do not publish an article without at least one public source.
Corrections
News is unfinished. When an article changes after publication, the edit time is shown separately alongside the publication time, and an old article is never restamped as new. When something is wrong, we fix it and say so.
How an article is made
We follow manufacturer announcements, regulator databases and trade press. Every claim is checked against its sources before publication, and each article is read and approved by hand. Nothing goes out unchecked.
Commercial content
Paid partnerships are marked prominently at the top of the article and the partner is named. Every affiliate link is separately marked. A partnership never changes what we write about a device.
