DUVA ONE: a $349.99 sleep earbud that Fitnexa says keeps adjusting after you fall asleep

Most sleep earbuds do their work before you drop off. DUVA ONE is pitched at the hours after that. Fitnexa introduced the earbuds under its new DUVA brand at IFA Berlin 2026, describing an in-ear sleep system that senses changes in the wearer and in the bedroom, then personalizes audio, noise control and device behavior through the night. It is planned for October 2026 at a target retail price of US$349.99.

The company's example of how that works in practice: once you are asleep, the earbuds can bring in locally stored sleep audio and shift into a more power-efficient mode, and if a partner starts snoring or the traffic outside picks up, DUVA ONE can change the ANC setting or layer in sound masking without anyone touching a phone.

The sensing is split between the buds and the case. In-ear PPG and motion sensors estimate sleep stages and track heart rate, HRV, sleep position and movement, while the case watches the room itself, logging noise, light, temperature and humidity.

"Sleep does not happen in a static environment, so sleep technology should not remain static either," said Diego, founder of Fitnexa. "DUVA ONE is designed to respond while sleep is still happening."

On noise, DUVA stacks three layers: passive isolation, Hybrid ANC and sleep audio, which the company rates at up to 42 dB of reduction. There is a Transparency Mode and adaptive ANC calibration. The AI side reads your real-time sleep state and generates personalized audio guidance meant to walk you down into sleep gradually.

Wearing something in your ear all night is the hard part of this product category, and DUVA's answer is size plus options. Each fitted earbud weighs about 3.3 grams with a roughly 9.9 mm low-profile shape. Two ear-tip shapes plus a range of tip and stabilizing-wing sizes add up to more than 40 fit configurations.

Battery life runs up to 16 hours in the most power-efficient configuration. With local audio playing, that becomes 13 hours with ANC off and 9.5 hours with ANC on. The case charges over USB-C or wirelessly and holds up to five more recharges.

Mornings are handled offline. The alarm wakes only the wearer with no active phone connection needed, ramps up in volume rather than starting loud, and offers 5, 10 or 15-minute snoozes from the earbud controls.

Fitnexa is also making privacy claims up front: DUVA ONE does not record conversations, does not store ambient audio and does not upload raw environmental audio, and users can switch off individual sensors and delete historical data.

Target markets at launch are the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, the European Union and Australia.
