Logitech G512 X keyboards get 8K polling and onboard switch storage, retailer video shows

If input latency is something you actually notice, the number to look at here is 0.125 milliseconds. That is the response time the Logitech G512 X keyboards can deliver when running 8K polling, according to a product video from retailer B&H Photo Video.

The more practical detail is on the back of the board. Logitech has built storage into the housing for extra switches, so swapping them is a matter of turning the keyboard over rather than digging out a box from a drawer, which is the sort of thing that decides whether a hot-swap feature gets used once or gets used often.

Small idea, real difference.

Tuning happens in Logitech's G Hub software, where individual key responses can be adjusted to match a player's own style rather than applying one setting across the whole board. B&H also talks up the palm rests on the two boards, saying they both feel and look good, which is a retailer describing its own stock and worth reading as such.
