Galaxy S26 prices have gone up by at least $100, store checks show
GSMArena and Engadget both found higher Galaxy S26 pricing on Samsung's own regional stores, with the 1TB Ultra now at $2,000.
Anyone still deciding on a Galaxy S26 is now paying more than they would have been. Samsung has raised prices across the S26 series by at least $100, and the jump is visible on its own storefronts rather than in any announcement.
GSMArena checked Samsung's regional online stores and found the US, Canada, the UK, mainland Europe and India all showing higher prices.
The increase is not flat across the range: most models went up by $100, according to Engadget, while the 1TB S26 Ultra climbed by $200 to land at an even $2,000, which is the kind of number that tends to stick in a buyer's head long after the spec sheet has been forgotten. The S26 FE was left alone, GSMArena reports.
Generation over generation, the gap is wider than the headline figure suggests. Engadget notes that the base 256GB S26 is now $200 more than its Galaxy S25 equivalent.
There is a cost story behind it. Samsung has pinned a decline in operating profit on higher costs, including components like RAM and storage getting more expensive, which is the same squeeze that makes bigger storage tiers the first thing to move on a price list.
That pressure may not stop here. Rumour has it the Galaxy S27 series will bring another price hike, per GSMArena, and Engadget points to reports that Samsung may make storage upgrades even more expensive in that lineup. Both are claims about an unannounced phone, so treat them as such.
