HMD confirms Vibe2 Pro for September 29, with a 6,000mAh battery and a headphone jack
The Pro version of HMD's Vibe2 arrives in India at the end of September, and HMD has already put most of the spec sheet out in public.
If you liked the idea of the Vibe2 but wanted more camera, HMD is about to give you a second option. The company has confirmed a Pro variant of the phone, launching in India on September 29, with the announcement and several key specifications posted on X.
The headline number is the battery. HMD says the Vibe2 Pro carries a 6,000mAh cell with 33W wired fast charging, which is the kind of capacity that decides whether a budget phone is genuinely a two-day device or just claims to be one, and it is paired here with a charging speed that at least keeps the top-up short. There is also a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Cameras move up on the Pro. HMD confirms a 64MP Sony IMX682 as the main rear sensor, with a 2MP macro alongside it, and a 13MP camera on the front.
Software is Android 16 out of the box. The phone ships with Indus AI, HMD's assistant layer, which supports 22 Indian languages, a detail that says a lot about who this device is built for. The standard Vibe2 landed in India back in May, so the Pro slots into a lineup that is only a few months old.
Three colour options are confirmed for launch.
